Website Specific Policies and Procedures

This page outlines additional policies applicable to the courses offered on this site. These are designed to supplement the main Policies and Procedures document found on our primary website (www.skylineschool.net). Please note that by signing up for a course here, you agree to abide by both these additional policies and our comprehensive Policies and Procedures. Accessing Self Paced Courses

You will receive a welcome email from our learning management system, DigitalChalk. There is important information in the email that you will need in order to access the course. The email will be sent to the email account you used when registering for the course through our online store. Check your spam folder if you do not see the welcome email in your inbox. If you do not receive an email, please contact us for assistance to gain access to your course.

Course Expiration

Exam Prep courses expire 6 (six) months from the date of purchase. Courses may be extended once for a period of 3 (three) months upon payment of a $75.00 course extension fee.

Real Estate courses expire 30 days from the purchase date or on June 10, whichever is sooner. Extensions are not allowed per North Carolina Real Estate Commission rules. In the event that your course expires please contact the school for a discount code to repurchase it at half price.

General Contractor courses expire 30 days from the purchase date or on November 30, whichever is sooner. Extensions are not allowed per North Carolina Real Estate Commission rules. In the event that your course expires please contact the school for a discount code to repurchase it at half price.

General Refund Policy

The school is committed to student satisfaction. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, we will refund the purchase price of any course, less a $10 administrative fee to cover credit card processing fees, if the refund request is submitted within 30 days of purchase, prior to course expiration or the start date/time of a Live Course, and the course is not more than 40% completed.

Promotional Codes

Promotional codes must be applied at checkout. No refund for an unused promotional code will be given after checkout has been completed. To obtain your promotional code discount, you must enter the promotional code in the box under your total at checkout and click the "Apply Discount" button. The discount amount will then be subtracted from the total amount due. Promotional codes are not eligible for use in conjunction with payment plans, or extensions.

Technical System Requirements

The courses are delivered through a secure and proprietary Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS is accessible online through common internet browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari. An internet connection is required (high speed is recommended, but not required).

The most up to date version of Google Chrome is the recommended browser to complete our Self Paced Courses.
